What loads, and when

The pages are static HTML. On the first view the site loads three providers through four primary script URLs from its own loader: Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js, measurement ID G-2XNBRKEYZF), Microsoft Clarity (project z459w5p8po, heatmaps and session replay), and Adsterra (publisher 3403020, Native Banner unit 31946181 and Social Bar unit 31946182). No third-party script tag is written into the initial HTML; the loader adds them asynchronously. GA4 is requested from the head; Clarity and Adsterra are requested when the page DOM is ready. Reject prevents those requests on the reloaded page.

This release has no embedded YouTube players or remote video thumbnails. YouTube, Discord, GitHub and the official game are external destinations: following a link opens the provider’s page under its own policy. They receive no request merely because an ordinary link is present here.

There is no consent gate. A visitor with no stored choice is treated as granted: the three services load and the banner appears to explain them. Reject turns analytics and ads off, reloads the page to stop previously running scripts and frames, and stores denied for 180 days. Accept stores granted for 180 days. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is treated as Reject even on a first visit.

Cookies and localStorage

First party, set by this site. azerothsurvivors_consent in localStorage holds { choice, exp } for 180 days. azerothsurvivors_socialbar_closed in localStorage holds 1 when you hide the Adsterra Social Bar; it stays until you clear this site’s data. The site application sets no first-party cookies of its own; the third-party scripts below can set cookies on this domain.

Google Analytics 4. gtag.js sets _ga and _ga_* cookies on azerothsurvivors.run (about 2 years) to distinguish users and sessions. It sends page views, events, approximate location, device and browser data to Google. The property’s event-data retention setting has not been independently confirmed; contact us for that setting.

Microsoft Clarity. Clarity sets _clck (about 1 year) and _clsk (about 1 day) on this domain, and Microsoft may set MUID (about 1 year) on its own domains. Clarity uses its own consent and session identifiers. Its retention depends on the service and project settings; we have not independently confirmed the retention window for this project. Adsterra. The Native Banner and Social Bar scripts run from bicea.org, Adsterra's ad-serving domain for these units. Adsterra and its partners set cookies and local storage on their own domains to cap frequency, detect fraud, measure clicks and choose creatives. Observed advertising delivery hosts on 2026-10-27 include static.nresystems.com, cdn.storageimagedisplay.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.show-creative1.com and cdn.cloudpiko.com. Creative delivery domains and storage names can change. Google Analytics requests use www.googletagmanager.com and www.google-analytics.com; Clarity uses www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional *.clarity.ms collection hosts. We do not control these providers’ storage names. The Social Bar is a fixed bar; its close state is remembered only in the first-party azerothsurvivors_socialbar_closed key above.

External video links. YouTube watch links navigate to YouTube rather than embedding a player in this release. Google’s policy applies after you follow those links; no YouTube cookies, player or thumbnail requests originate from this site’s page.

Choice and retention

The implementation loads analytics, session replay and advertising by default and offers Accept, Reject and Cookie settings. Silence is not represented here as a legal determination of consent. Google Consent Mode starts with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied and analytics_storage granted before config; the site then updates the signals for the saved choice or the default-on state. ads_data_redaction is enabled. The preference record is kept for 180 days, then the notice appears again.

We do not run an account system or mailing list. Advertising providers receive device and network data as described above. Hosting security logs may be processed by Cloudflare; an exact log-retention period is not available to us and is not estimated here. Email you send to [email protected] is kept only as long as needed to answer it.

Personalized advertising and opt-outs

Adsterra may personalize ads using its own signals. You can turn off personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com, and read Adsterra's own choices in its privacy policy at adsterra.com/privacy-policy. Reject on this site stops the Adsterra scripts here regardless of those settings.

Global Privacy Control is honoured as Reject. Because the site has no login, there is no profile to export; email us to ask what a message you sent contains, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also clear azerothsurvivors_consent and azerothsurvivors_socialbar_closed in your browser's site-data settings at any time.

Changes

If a third party is added or removed, this page changes in the same release as the code, and the checked date below moves. The current list is exactly what the loader creates: Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Adsterra Native Banner and Adsterra Social Bar. External game, community and video links are navigation destinations, not automatic integrations.
